Akim V. Arbuzov
Akim V. Arbuzov was born on May 1st. 1919, in the village of Medveditsa, Saratov region. He is an educated artist of Russian Art, Russian Impressionism and Soviet paintings. Akim V. Arbuzov passed the entrance exam for Penza Art College in 1936, his teacher was Gorushkin-Sorokopudov. In 1943 Akim V. Arbuzov entered the Fine Art's Department at the Kharkov Art Institute where he was taught by Semen I. Chernov. After graduating Akim V. Arbuzov left Kharkov for Tambov, Russia, where he worked as a drawing teacher. Akim V. Arbuzov became a member of the Artist's Union in 1992 and continues to live and work in Tambov.
