Nikolai Dmitrevich Chernushkin

Nikolai Dmitrevich Chernushkin was born 1928 in Liski, Voronezh Region. Nikolai studied the art of Russian painting at Penza Art College from 1946-51. From 1961-1980 he worked in creative groups at Academic Dachas, "Kardovski" and "Gurzuf". He became a member of the Artist's Union in 1961. In 1967 he began working in Belgorod. He was awarded the Certificate of Honour by the Cultural Committee and the City and Regional Unions.

Nikolai Dmitrevich Chernushkin was involved in Republic, Zonal, Group, Regional, Personal and Inter-Regional Exhibitons from 1961 through 1998. His works are in Arkhangelsk Art Museum, the Lomonosov Museum and the Belgorod State Art Museum. Many of his works of art were bought by the Ministry of Culture and over 380 of his paintings were bought by French Galleries.
