Nikolai Vasilievich Zavarin

Nikolai V. Zavarin was born in 1918 in the village of Slastukha in the Ekaterininsk district of the Saratov region. He studied in the PA Vlasov Art School in 1936-1940, and then in the Stalingrad Art School in 1940-1941.. Nikolai V. Zavarin entered the IE Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the USSR Art Academy, which he graduated from in 1956. In 1974 he became a member of the USSR Artists' Union. He was also a participant of the Great Patriotic War.

A participant of exhibitions: Provincial exhibitions, 1941-2005, Regional exhibitions, "The Exhibition of the Artists of Povolzhie", 1958,1965. "The Great Volga", 1979. Republican Exhibitions, "The 40TH Anniversary of the Great October Socialistic Revolution", 1957. "The Painters of Sea-Scapes to the Day of a Fisherman", 1968. "The Painters of Sea-Scapes to the Workers of the Sea", 1969. The personal exhibition, Astrakhan, 1978.
