Nikolai Vasilievich Zavarin
Nikolai V. Zavarin was born in 1918 in the village of Slastukha in the Ekaterininsk district of the Saratov region. He studied in the PA Vlasov Art School in 1936-1940, and then in the Stalingrad Art School in 1940-1941.. Nikolai V. Zavarin entered the IE Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the USSR Art Academy, which he graduated from in 1956. In 1974 he became a member of the USSR Artists' Union. He was also a participant of the Great Patriotic War.
